"Cineplex" ferrofluid

Text: The
ferrofluid you see consists of magnetic nanoparticles suspended in water.
As a magnet is brought up to the ferrofluid, spikes form in the fluid
and can dance in response to movements of the magnet.

The "cineplex" features short videos that demonstrate particular
phenomena related to nano and microscale structured materials. It also
has short videos showing how to do simple demonstations and classroom
activities, many of which are associated with the MRSEC's classroom kits.
